Rev. Dr. Beth Donaldson comes to us most recently from Minnesota, where she served the United Church of Christ in New Brighton for over 18 years. She considers herself a “global nomad” having been born in Southern Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe), then living in Newton, MA, for her school years, Bennington, VT., for college, Berkeley, CA and Chicago, IL, for Seminary; then Hawaii, where she served two churches for over 13 years. She enjoys pastoral ministry as it allows her to delve into her varied interest, including worship,(music, writing, and arts) pastoral care, (listening and compassionate care) administration (helping things happen), and formation (studying and teaching.) She has been an adjunct professor at United Theological Seminary in the Twin Cities. And she is very grateful to be here as our Transitional Minister.
